The CaptivCast™ Remote Scheduler Application allows you to specify running times for particular loops to be displayed, and it has been designed for the ultimate in flexibility.

The Scheduler application is used to add attributes to the loop that identify date ranges, days of the week, and time of day for the schedule. Each loop can be assigned to a schedule, and schedules can span minutes, hours, days, weeks, years, etc. The CaptivCast™ player allows the simultaneous playing of the Default Loop and a single Scheduled Loop three ways:

Exclusive Schedule Loop - Assets in a specified loop play from beginning to end at a scheduled time.

Alternate Schedule and Default Loops - Assets in a loop play in their entirety from beginning to end at a specified time after which time the loop alternates with the default loop, whose assets also play entirely from beginning to end.

Merge Scheduled and Default Loops - Assets in a scheduled loop play in alternating fashion with the default loop. For example: Asset A from default loop – Asset A from scheduled loop – Asset B from default loop – Asset B from scheduled loop, etc.
